   Split Solar Collector and System uses electric pumps, valves, and controllers to circulate water or other heat-transfer fluids through the collectors. Evacuated Tube Collectors can be used in either closed-loop or open-loop configurations, although we advise that a closed loop system is better since it will prevent corrosion or scale shaping in the collector manifold. A closed system will therefore make the life of the collector much longer.
